@hpfr:matrix.orghpfr I installed flatpak EOG a while ago to see if it had HEIF support but eventually removed it when I learned of gthumb (so much better than photos and eog for most users, I think. Photos doesn't even let you browse!). Now I can't seem to run my Nix EOG from the "Image Viewer" desktop entry from the overview. It shows a spinner and eventually silently fails. I've searched all of my $XDG_DATA_DIRS for org.gnome.eog.desktop, and the only one is in /run/current-system-sw/share, which I'm guessing is the default for EOG installed as part of the the GNOME NixOS module 10:16:51
@hpfr:matrix.orghpfr gtk-launch org.gnome.eog.desktop works fine 10:17:02
@jtojnar:matrix.orgJan Tojnar hpfr: anything in logs? 14:40:41
@hpfr:matrix.orghpfr

Jan Tojnar: I'm not too familiar with what logs to look for but in journalctl --user there's:

Dec 16 13:16:08 moon-watcher systemd[1849]: Started Application launched by gnome-shell.
Dec 16 13:16:08 moon-watcher org.gnome.eog.desktop[258811]: error: app/org.gnome.eog/x86_64/stable not installed

@hpfr:matrix.orghpfryeah I've checked both of those, it's in neither20:53:09
@jtojnar:matrix.orgJan Tojnarweird, maybe some cache20:53:42
@hpfr:matrix.orghpfr I fully removed eog from ~/.var/app/ as well, which doesn't get removed by flatpak remove 20:53:51
@hpfr:matrix.orghpfr hmm yeah there's still some eog-related files in ~/.local/share/flatpak/ 20:54:54

@felschr:matrix.orgfelschr I'm experiencing a weird issue with nautilus lately. At some point it started showing all my system's mounted btrfs subvolumes in the sidebar. I'm fairly sure it didn't show all of them previously.
Also, when I got to "Other Locations" I don't see any unmounted disks anymore.
I can still see my unmounted disks in gnome-disks. And if I mount them, they show up in nautilus.
