| In the GTK file chooser there used to be a preview on the right when selecting an image. This is gone now for some time and since the file chooser does not yet support thumbnails, there is no way to see what image I am selecting. Is there a way to bring back the preview? | 20:08:04 | |
| Screenshot is the file chooser opened from EOG, but file chooser from Electron apps is similar. | 20:08:54 | |

In reply to @hmenke:matrix.orgThat was only implemented by some apps, not by GTK itself | 15:54:31 | |
| thumbnails in the file chooser are being worked on by the way, hopefully they will be available in GNOME 44 in the spring | 15:56:00 | |

| Hey folks; I've hooked up an old Phillips LC7.2ELA screen to my NixOS machine as a temporary fix for a broken screen. The problem is Gnome doesn't seem to support the screen very well; for both the automatically selected resolution, as well as others I have tried which would be a close fit, the top and the bottom of the image are trimmed. I believe my model has the odd resolution of 1366x768; some models have 1920x1080 resolution, but I tried it and it doesn't work well (and the problem of trimmed top and bottom persists). I've attempted to add the resolution to | 18:16:49 | |
