Trying to figure out why it isn't in said repositories, though, as it does seem to appear in gradle-env.json, etc.

I noticed you could download it at adoptopenjdk.net, but haven't found it available for Nix anywhere. I haven't done a lot of Java, so it's quite possible that there's something that I don't get.
