Yes, I think this was based on https://github.com/NixOS/rfcs/pull/3 I found https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/blob/master/pkgs/build-support/replace-dependency.nix but 1) I'm not sure if it would help to avoid rebuilds of transitive dependencies, 2) it doesn't work in pure mode? o_0
