@sigmasquadron:matrix.orgSigmaSquadronfor that specific service, you can also override the systemd unit, assuming it has the same name in the nixos module or upstream.12:41:29

@palasso:matrix.orgVassilis PalassopoulosHey, if you think I am spamming too much with KDE Ni! OS just let me know.10:51:28
@k900:0upti.meK900To be honest, I am slightly worried about people trying to turn their personal NixOS config into a Product10:53:23
@k900:0upti.meK900Without really communicating to upstream10:53:28
@palasso:matrix.orgVassilis PalassopoulosYeah I noticed your comment on the first blog post. I hope there is some collaboration between upstream and Ni! OS. Immutable distros are all the rage nowadays and NixOS already has all those features and more. In my eyes Ni! OS showcases to its audience (people who are probably aware of immutable distros but not NixOS) how NixOS is already where immutable distros have been trying to go. This reminds me of SnowflakeOS, basically hiding the nix language to the user, and giving them a reliable system with comparable user experience (with graphical tools) to what they were used to.11:08:13
@k900:0upti.meK900Except it kinda doesn't do any of that11:10:05
@k900:0upti.meK900It's literally just the guy's personal NixOS config11:10:17
@k900:0upti.meK900Sorry if I sound grumpy11:10:26
@palasso:matrix.orgVassilis PalassopoulosI assume that's the end goal and he's just starting out.11:10:55

Hi All

I want don't want this manual step. What's the option for this in nixos🥹?

14:12:01
@k900:0upti.meK900Set your wallet password to match your user password14:12:03
@k900:0upti.meK900And then it should auto-unlock14:12:10
@vivekanandan_ks:matrix.orgvivekanandan_ksIt's the same password but still not working14:13:10
@k900:0upti.meK900Are you using autologin?14:13:18
@vivekanandan_ks:matrix.orgvivekanandan_ksYes14:13:33
@k900:0upti.meK900Then it won't work14:13:39
@k900:0upti.meK900You can set your wallet password to empty string14:13:44
@k900:0upti.meK900Then it'll store your secrets in plain text14:13:50
@vivekanandan_ks:matrix.orgvivekanandan_ks It's a safety mechanism? 14:14:01
@k900:0upti.meK900No, it just doesn't know your password14:14:08
@k900:0upti.meK900When autologin is used14:14:13
@k900:0upti.meK900If you log in with password, the password you used to log in is passed to kwallet for unlocking14:14:39
@k900:0upti.meK900But if you autologin, there is no known password14:14:45
@vivekanandan_ks:matrix.orgvivekanandan_ks Then it won't ask the popup and connect to network automatically? 14:14:53
