damccull | How do ya'll handle ~/.ssh/config with home-manager? | 06:59:38 |
Infinidoge 🏳️⚧️ | It should be under programs.ssh , last I checked | 07:00:26 |
damccull | Under the matchblocks? | 07:05:33 |
Infinidoge 🏳️⚧️ | It home manager it should let you set all normal settings | 07:08:54 |
damccull | In reply to @infinidoge:inx.moe It home manager it should let you set all normal settings Well, I guess I dont' understand the syntax for this:
Host *
IdentityAgent ~/.1password/agent.sock
host github.com
hostname ssh.github.com
port 443
user damccull
identityfile ~/.ssh/id_ed25519.pub
How do I build this with the options? I could definitely use home.file, but I think the permissions would then be wrong.
| 07:14:45 |
damccull | Something like
programs.ssh.matchBlock."*".identityAgent = "`~/.1passwordagent.sock";
programs.ssh.matchBlock."github.com" {
hostname = "ssh.github.com"
# ... more options?
};

| 07:16:38 |
damccull | well identityAgent doesn't exist so that's a problem | 07:18:04 |
damccull | Oh snap. There's a wiki page on this. Thanks though Infinidoge 🏳️⚧️ | 07:25:48 |
[0x4A6F] | There is also a channel for #hm:rycee.net ... | 07:27:54 |
damccull | hahaha I thought I clicked on that. Oops :D Thank you. I misclicked here instead. | 07:28:42 |

Alyssa Ross | it's third-party | 15:42:43 |
| pie changed their display name from PoweredByPie to pie. | 15:43:14 |
nyanbinary | In reply to @qyliss:fairydust.space it's third-party I mean Framework selling it and acknowledging it is pretty big imo | 16:03:15 |
Tristan Ross | In reply to @qyliss:fairydust.space it's third-party So what? At least someone did it lol. | 17:11:46 |
Tristan Ross | I remember when Raito announced that partnership thing, I have been interested in the NDA model and hope for ARM. Maybe the NDA model is this RISC-V one. If it is then awesome. https://discourse.nixos.org/t/exciting-partnership-announcement-framework-community-nixos-communities-join-forces/44640/8?u=rosscomputerguy | 17:23:42 |
Alyssa Ross | oh I don't think it matters, I was just responding to "Framework already did it" | 17:48:07 |
Tristan Ross | In reply to @qyliss:fairydust.space oh I don't think it matters, I was just responding to "Framework already did it" Oh, well I didn't quite see that DeepComputing was the one doing it lol | 17:53:00 |
Daniel Schäfer | In reply to @rosscomputerguy:matrix.org Oh, well I didn't quite see that DeepComputing was the one doing it lol That's important to understand. It's sold through Framework's marketplace but is not engineered or made by Framework. I can't speak for DeepComputing but the experience using this board will likely not match those of Framework systems | 18:01:35 |

I'm used to hardware not being exactly what it's like because of what I do. Still interested. | 18:03:21 |

The peripheral set and performance aren’t yet competitive with our Intel and AMD-powered Framework Laptop Mainboards. This board also has soldered memory and uses MicroSD cards and eMMC for storage, both of which are limitations of the processor.
