llakala | In reply to @niko:nyanbinary.rsoh, one version difference i see when comparing our outputs: i'm on bluez 5.7.5, while you're on bluez 5.7.6 | 20:30:50 |
nyanbinary 🏳️⚧️ | wha font do u hav btw | 20:33:11 |
llakala | In reply to @niko:nyanbinary.rsMonocraft, it's in the kitty fonts | 20:39:47 |
Charles | I would guess that's Minecraftia | 20:39:54 |
llakala | close | 20:40:01 |
llakala | apparently minecraftia is slightly less accurate to the original font | 20:40:10 |
llakala | at least according to a tweeti saw this week | 20:40:16 |
llakala | also i don't think minecraftia is monospaced | 20:40:53 |

aktaboot | In reply to @niko:nyanbinary.rsfwiw I always experience issues with bluetooth, and also got this same error | 21:47:26 |
aktaboot | but it's far from new to me so i didn't really experience anything different | 21:47:56 |
aktaboot | I could trace the error up to a booted 6.10.7 | 21:49:18 |
aktaboot | I dont have logs that go before that | 21:49:44 |
llakala | Someone here brought up a great point: The new kernel mentions things related to framework laptops. On my machine (AMD 7640u), 6.11 seems to accomplish what the kmod drivers were doing for me before. Is anyone able to replicate this on an Intel Framework? The Phoronix article only mentions a change for AMD drivers, and I'm curious whether the kmod drivers are still necessary on Intel machines. The things to test are whether 6.10 with the kmod driver has identical functionality to 6.11 without the kmod driver. I've been testing this using Gnome's control center in the top right: it shows a little Keyboard setting when the functionality is working. I'm not sure of a way to test this without Gnome yet. | 22:32:20 |

blitz | I can at least confirm that 6.11 without the kmod also has keyboard backlight control, but battery charge control is gone ( no | 08:29:51 |

blitz | btw, for people that don't need/want the kmod, you can disable it with: | 09:06:59 |
