magnetophon | Any idea why?
And on a practical note: are you running it manually, or have you automated it? | 21:07:18 |
io | No strong reason, no. I saw in the logs the call trace for the suspend hung task. The trace mentions some IO stuff (idk if it's relevant though), and I saw some people mention that some SSDs can cause it too. So decided to try a few things. I updated the firmware for the SSD (a suggestion I saw) but no dice. sync seems to do it so far. I'm just running it manually at the moment, but if it continues to work I might put it as a pre-suspend hook.
I also tried turning off wifi and bluetooth before suspend, as I saw people saying that was a cause, but also no effect.

io | I also saw this as a tool to debug sleep issues, I believe written by someone @ AMD - https://github.com/superm1/amd-debug-tools/blob/master/docs/amd-s2idle.md - though I haven't tried it yet | 23:19:51 |

Albert | Anyone else take apart the video card module on the 16 to clean?
I"ve cleaned mine a few times (dog hair!) and managed to damage the right fan this most recent cleaning :( I don't know what I did.
Thankfully I can order replacements! | 12:06:21 |
