@k900:0upti.meK900 Are you running the vendor kernel or mainline? 07:11:28
@voidedgin:matrix.orgAndo “Thor” NandoWe’re running 6.1.57. Here’s the base.nix in the repo that does the building on the branch where I’m testing the upgrade https://github.com/Dogebox-WG/os/blob/chore/nixos-25.05/nix/builders/nanopc-t6/base.nix07:24:51
@k900:0upti.meK900So vendor 07:25:35
@k900:0upti.meK900Yeah that's presumably some issue with the vendor kernel being a vendor kernel 07:25:44
@k900:0upti.meK900Would highly recommend running mainline if you're just using it as a builder 07:26:00
@jkarlson:kapsi.fi@jkarlson:kapsi.fianyone know how to select pbp battery? https://www.cdrtd.com/products/laptop-replacement-battery-for-pine64-pinebook-pro-14-3-8v-10000mah-7pin-7lines-new.html 2 interfaces mentioned here, though there's no dropdown menu10:01:37
@jkarlson:kapsi.fi@jkarlson:kapsi.fifor whatever reason, no response to emails10:02:14

@k900:0upti.meK900Bad news: the bpi-r4 just randomly rebooted22:47:58
@k900:0upti.meK900Also bad news: that led me to discover that we don't have pstore22:48:09
@k900:0upti.meK900Good news: we now have pstore22:48:14
@matthewcroughan:defenestrate.itmatthewcroughanDid you get any logs?22:53:35
@matthewcroughan:defenestrate.itmatthewcroughan with journalctl --boot=-1 22:53:42
@matthewcroughan:defenestrate.itmatthewcroughanor is that what pstore is 22:53:48
* @matthewcroughan:defenestrate.itmatthewcroughan doesn't know or care what pstore is22:53:54
@matthewcroughan:defenestrate.itmatthewcroughanWell I kinda care actually, now that you mention it22:54:49
@matthewcroughan:defenestrate.itmatthewcroughanboth DuckDuckGo and Google say that pstore is the Sony Playstation official store22:55:15
@matthewcroughan:defenestrate.itmatthewcroughanOh okay, so were you not booting with systemd-boot/efi ? I just take pstore for granted then, as it always worked for me22:56:10
@k900:0upti.meK900I'm not and it won't work on uboot UEFI because no writable efivars22:57:37
@matthewcroughan:defenestrate.itmatthewcroughanso when I do journalctl --boot=-1 and I get the last kernel crash, am I not supposed to get that?22:58:12
@k900:0upti.meK900 Is it a kernel crash or a kernel _oops: 22:59:10

The free plan is now basically nothing - only 0.5 GB of photos at a time, which isn't terribly convenient.

  • called the "nixplay"
  • photo frame SaaS app with lame limits
  • runs rooted Android

Who's going to do some spite-driven development? 😛
