Grimmauld (any/all) | https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libxml2/-/releases/v2.15.1
We have a new libxml release, we should do the bump. Doesn't look immediately security-critical, but better to stay on top of these.
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/librsvg/-/merge_requests/1149
librsvg also has a PR to add support for libxml 2.15+, currently we hack around in the tests but we should probably bump and pick that PR | 15:43:51 |
Grimmauld (any/all) | i can draft two PRs for those | 15:44:48 |
Grimmauld (any/all) | libxml: https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/457291
librsvg (includes libxml-related patch changes, cleaning up the mess i introduced with libxml 2.15.0 a few weeks ago): https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/457296 | 17:03:10 |

Grimmauld (any/all) | When will we roughly start the next staging-unstable? | 12:30:12 |
Grimmauld (any/all) | * When will we roughly start the next staging-next-unstable? | 12:30:17 |
Vladimír Čunát | 24-48h would be my estimate. Hydra will take some time cleaning up the merge consequences. | 12:32:11 |
Grimmauld (any/all) | Eh nevermind, i'll just merge the stuff i think is ready, comes down to sdl3 and libxml and libxml should be pretty tame this time. No need to wait, noone will look at it anyways :P | 12:32:27 |
Vladimír Čunát | Yeah, unless there's some reason to wait. | 12:33:40 |
Vladimír Čunát | It's always possible to merge more fixes if need be. | 12:33:53 |
Vladimír Čunát | * It's always possible to merge more fixes later if need be. | 12:34:04 |
