interestingly uses a nixos test framework, but isn't packaged in nixpkgs :)
nixos test framework is nice for LXC/Incus though incus with ZFS is quite expensive. Is it unusual to use it outside of nixpkgs?

@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephensIt's not common for sure17:57:41
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephensI wouldn't bother with ZFS in a nixosTest unless you explicitly need to test ZFS17:57:57

@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephenssure, why not13:07:50
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephensor are you joking about the requirements?13:07:59
@hexa:lossy.networkhexajoking about the TPM 2.0 requirement13:08:42
@hexa:lossy.networkhexadisk encryption using measured boot13:09:46
@hexa:lossy.networkhexa* disk encryption using measured boot, ok13:09:48
@hexa:lossy.networkhexa

IncusOS relies on two PCRs (7 & 11) to bind disk encryption keys.

@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephensI'll probably not try it out myself, but sharing for the public interest :)13:11:40

@hexa:lossy.networkhexa adamcstephens: have you seen nixos vms not responding to incus stop? 23:24:32
@hexa:lossy.networkhexathe incus-agent is running23:25:23
@hexa:lossy.networkhexafor a long time actually23:25:29
@hexa:lossy.networkhexain fact nothing happens in the vm when I call stop23:25:57
@hexa:lossy.networkhexalike it didn't take note 23:26:02
@hexa:lossy.networkhexarestarting the agent does nothing to fix this23:26:39
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephensno, but i don't frequently run a manual stop23:30:34
@adam:robins.wtfadamcstephens just tested a stop and it cleanly stopped. hexa 23:31:31
@hexa:lossy.networkhexayeah, freshly started ones work23:32:14
