Try this? https://nix-community.github.io/home-manager/index.html#_why_do_i_get_an_error_message_about_literal_ca_desrt_dconf_literal

Did you put it in your system configuration?

@dandellion:dodsorf.asDandellionoh that's ugly ☹️14:00:14
@dandellion:dodsorf.asDandelliono14:01:06
@dandellion:dodsorf.asDandellion services.dbus.packages = with pkgs; [ gnome3.dconf ]; 14:01:07
@dandellion:dodsorf.asDandellionI had this in my system config already14:01:18
@dandellion:dodsorf.asDandellionI wonder where it came from14:02:21
@dandellion:dodsorf.asDandellion(the error that is)14:05:46
@dandellion:dodsorf.asDandellionIt's from switching from pulse to pipewire, but still using pactl apparently14:06:29
@dandellion:dodsorf.asDandellionit was not that, it's just popped up entirely on its own 🤔14:37:08

@dandellion:dodsorf.asDandellionI can't activate old profiles either15:04:41
@lunik1:lunik.onelunik1I'm managing sway with home-manager, but my user services don't seem to be picking up its wayland session. Both the foot and blueman-applet services are failing because they can't connect to wayland (or XWayland in blueman-applet's case).15:14:10
@hobbit:nerdsin.spacenicolas lunik1 Systemd services don't inherit have the same environment variables 15:15:37
@dandellion:dodsorf.asDandellion

It was my gtk theme:

gtk = {
      enable = true;
      theme = {
        package = pkgs.breeze-gtk;
        name = "Breeze";
      };
      iconTheme = {
        package = pkgs.breeze-icons;
        name = "breeze";
      };
    };

that triggered the error

15:15:39
@lunik1:lunik.onelunik1 they'll need WAYLAND_DISPLAY, right? 15:16:17
@hobbit:nerdsin.spacenicolas lunik1 try systemctl --user show-environment | grep WAYLAND. If it doesn't print WAYLAND_DISPLAY then it's missing from the environment 15:16:37
@sumner:sumnerevans.comsumner
In reply to @lunik1:lunik.one
they'll need WAYLAND_DISPLAY, right?
lunik1: I have this in my config to import that: https://git.sr.ht/~sumner/home-manager-config/tree/master/item/modules/window-manager/wayland.nix#L67
15:16:38
@sumner:sumnerevans.comsumner Also, if you are managing sway with hm, there should be a systemctl --user import-environment or something along those lines in ~/.config/sway/config 15:17:34
@hobbit:nerdsin.spacenicolas IIRC the option wayland.windowManager.sway.enableSystemdIntegration will automatically import the required variables in systemd during Sway's startup 15:17:43
@lunik1:lunik.onelunik1hm, I have that set to true already15:19:33
