Did you enable the h-m module for your shell? eg. programs.bash.enable

I'd encourage anyone willing to use the fork to test the module to help identify any issues and hopefully make the review process easier.
if you're using flakes, you can update your home-manager input.url to github:n-hass/home-manager/podman-module.
