hey is there a way to get info file versions of the nixos/nixpkgs/nix manuals (& maybe configuration.nix/home-configuration.nix options manpages) on my system visible to info-apropos etc?

I responded, tl;dr overlay to remove probably redundant patch and see if things work. I don't know how to write the overlay from memory though.

I'm having issues setting up emacs with envrc and nix-direnv. When I open a buffer in the target directory, only the environment variable XPC_SERVICE_NAME gets updated. Checking the Messages buffer confirms that no other variables are being inherited.

Running direnv in /Users/lactose/Desktop/stenorust/ ... (C-g to abort)
direnv: ~XPC_SERVICE_NAME (~/Desktop/stenorust)

@bestlem:matrix.orgbestlemIf you do that in the terminal what do you get and what is your .envrc 16:11:31
@7actose:matrix.org7actoseIf I cd to the directory first and then run emacs the variables are set properly but I was under the impression it shouldn't matter because the envrc package would handle that automatically.16:16:00
@7actose:matrix.org7actose My .envrc only has use flake 16:16:57
@bestlem:matrix.orgbestlemYou are on macOS and that adds issues - so am I and it works 16:17:10
