 bestlem | @gekoke - What the issue is is that envrc.el gets the exact path that you get in a plain shell in a terminal - However home-manager emacs build puts a directory like /nix/store/*-emacs-packages-deps/bin on Emacs path and this get lost, that path is from the extraConfigs argument | 14:51:11 |
| bestlem | Well it is exactly the same as the terminal if exec-path-from-shell is called - but if the latter is not done - then only the extra from envrc - so looks like only exec-path-from-shell is an issue. Need to merge paths not just replace.

i am not convinced having my emacs config in nix is worth it :D Getting Emacs and binary dependencies is worth it. I do not recommend managing Elisp dependencies via Nix | 03:29:06 |
