For the simple reason of WSL not having GPU acceleration I think this should be fine in this particular case, like I understand it's not good but I only use the laptop in docked mode 99% of the time so power draw isn't too much of a concern. It's the company laptop I'm forced to use, and they recently moved me from streaming a vm with vmware-horizon with >1sec input latency that doesn't keep state to a laptop with windows admin permissions where I'm allowed to do whatever in wsl but am not allowed to install any extra windows software because of compliance bs. And windows terminal isn't rendering my prompter properly and the eza output, I guess that's because of missing fonts . | 15:59:37 |
