it completely borks my system as i can't even get into a recovery shell (by using wsl -d NixOS --system --user root -- /mnt/wslg/distro/bin/nixos-wsl-recovery)

if i do a switch, it just boots into the previous generation as if nothing has been applied. if i do a boot, it completely borks my system as i can't even get into a recovery shell (by using wsl -d NixOS --system --user root -- /mnt/wslg/distro/bin/nixos-wsl-recovery)

| @wyndon:envs.net | reinstalled nixos-wsl and applied my flake config, upon restarting dns wouldn't resolve
tried a bunch of combinations like disabling useNetworkd/resolved/etc. (i use clan and that's the kind of stuff clan enables), nothing worked
removed networkingMode=mirrored in .wslconfig, dns worked again
put back networkingMode=mirrored, dns works still (and yes i did completely restart wsl)
🤷, so apparently what works for me is putting networking.useNetworkd to false and do that mirroredMode shenanigan | 04:08:00 |
