Keen to try out derivationStrict but I ran into this eval error when swapping it in to derivationWithMeta:

I'd say let's wait until the middle of next week to give Robert Hensing (roberth) (co-author) and niksnut more time to reply and argue. If some new good arguments are brought up until then we might have to think some more.
If not, I think I'll just make a comment to ask all shepherds to upvote that comment if they agree to do FCP We can do that, although I don't think all discussion points need to be resolved for announcing FCP. It exists to enable discussion, after all. | 12:24:44 |
