| Just a quick summary of the SymfonyCon: It was super great, my best symfonycon so far. Not necessarily for the talk I've been watching, but merely for the people I met there. I have the feeling that people are talking about reproducibility without knowing it exists and that it would fix many of the issues that they are facing (see the FrankenPHP talk: https://dunglas.dev/2023/12/php-and-symfony-apps-as-standalone-binaries/). I was also extremelly pleased to see a talk on Nix itself by the platform.sh guys. They are using Nix to build their containers and they are amazed by it. It's the beginning of a whole new chapter for them ! There were many discussions on Nix and how we could improve the security of Composer. I pushed for having a checksum in Next SymfonyCon is in Vienna, 7-8 December 2024. Maybe I'll go. | 09:41:37 | |

| It's weird that the imagick in nixpkgs is working for php83 and in any of my docker images it crashes because of this 🤔 https://github.com/Imagick/imagick/pull/641 | 12:50:16 | |
| Maybe a dependency in the supply chain? | 13:53:08 | |
| I proposed a venue for the next NixCon! https://github.com/nixcon/nixcon-proposals/issues/3 | 13:54:22 | |

any good idea? Easiest fix would be to rename php.ini 🤔 | 11:02:54
| also only happens with home-manager packages nix-shell works fine wtf :D | 11:09:03 | |
the collisions are from buildEnv, mkShell does not use that | 20:54:04

| rikudou@lemmings.world: Why PHP 8.3 and NodeJS 21 doesn't show up in https://history.nix-packages.com/ ? | 14:08:46 | |
| And your profile pic is lovely :) | 14:09:59 | |
| Pol: PHP 8.3 is in https://history.nix-packages.com/search?packageName=php83, nodejs seems to be on https://history.nix-packages.com/search?packageName=nodejs_21 | 14:10:10 | |
In reply to @drupol:matrix.orgHeh, thanks! | 14:10:14
| Oooh ok that's how it works | 14:10:57 | |
| It's a bit confusing | 14:11:02 | |
I was expecting to see all the versions of PHP by just typing php or nodejs | 14:11:20
| Can you open it as an issue? I'll see what I can do, currently I'm just returning the raw data from the nixpkgs repository | 14:12:06 | |
| Doing it! | 14:13:14 | |
| https://github.com/RikudouSage/NixPackageHistoryFrontend/issues/1 | 14:17:12 | |
In reply to @drupol:matrix.orgThanks! I'll take a look at it, though if the result is way too hacky, I'll probably leave it the way it is currently. But I think there might be some good solution. | 14:19:01
