Hello Nix Friends!

I am currently looking for a way to use my upcoming master thesis (~ Feb. 2026) as a trojan horse for a career with NixOS. If any of you know companies or researchers that could be interested in facilitating a NixOS based thesis in a life science related field, I'd be extremely grateful if you could pass the word along.

I have a ~14 year background in chemistry, and I'm currently doing my masters in life science with in the data science specialization. To give you a rough idea what that could entail; two things that I will propose to one of my professors are:

• Reproducibility in GMP regulated environments (pharma)
• Distributed / federated learning with homomorphically encrypted data (sensitive patient data, for example)

But I am totally open to any ideas to do with NixOS :)
