@ners:nixos.devnersI've always found the Swiss tech landscape a bit stagnant. It's really encouraging to see at least some companies taking a chance with more niche paradigms. (e.g. FP)06:11:59

@apeioo:matrix.orgapeioo

Last zhf i remember sometimes working on the same package as someone else. I saw in the NixCon org channel they are using hedgedoc. Could we maybe create a pad with a list of all broken packages? Then everyone could add a note if they are working on something and what they discovered etc.

What do you guys think?

I think it‘s a good idea to coordinate work and avoid duplicate work. But at the same time we need to be careful not to increase the barrier to entry even more.

@nebucatnetzer13:matrix.orgnebucatnetzer13Maybe a list of attendees and everyone adds the package they work on. Can even be multiples but this way you maybe could even should into the room: "Who is John? I would like to help with package X." Doesn't need to be something formal just something we could mention and start doing.17:06:12
@nebucatnetzer13:matrix.orgnebucatnetzer13* Maybe a list of attendees (the list of broken packages is very large) and everyone adds the package they work on. Can even be multiples but this way you maybe could even should into the room: "Who is John? I would like to help with package X." Doesn't need to be something formal just something we could mention and start doing.17:06:32
