@kamillaova:matrix.orgKamilla 'ova* useless lambda?05:28:56
@lingo5080:matrix.orglingo5080oh yeah that was after messing around trying to find the issue, I initially had just the function passed in05:39:58
@lingo5080:matrix.orglingo5080I updated gist to switch it back and added the somewhat unhelpful error I'm getting05:42:48

please rerun it with --show-trace and post a new error
05:46:25
@lingo5080:matrix.orglingo5080I'm kind of new to this, where exactly do I need to put --show-trace?05:46:57

05:47:24
@kamillaova:matrix.orgKamilla 'ova And I think the right channel for this question is #Nix / NixOS 05:48:43
@lingo5080:matrix.orglingo5080ah ok, looks like I'm getting more helpful errors. I'll take some time to mess with this more, ty05:51:40

@h7x4:nani.wtfh7x4 I realize this might be implementation specific and doesn't belong in this channel, but does anyone know whether there is a time/space complexity table for the builtins anywhere? I find it hard to reason about the complexity of the functions on top when it comes to builtins like listToAttrs, // and removeAttrs. 14:46:20
@emilazy:matrix.orgemilytime complexity is a subtle thing when you're talking about a lazy language, but my understanding is that attrsets are strict in the spine and represented as flat tables14:55:00
@emilazy:matrix.orgemily so listToAttrs and // should be O(n), not sure about removeAttrs 14:55:22
