What's the alternative to express disagreement? Pile on "noes"? Send PRs to remove Twitter involvement and do the consensus over there? I feel like those reactions are just the easiest way to express minor disagreements with no further action I would say don't use alternatives. I agree with the general sentiment that negative emojis like 👎️ do not help the atmosphere, creates friction between us, and can be confusing.
If you disagree, say so. Say why. Be pointed. Be direct.
