Hi, could we get a small post on social media about the nixcon 2024 (EU) call for location, and link to https://discourse.nixos.org/t/lets-make-nixcon-2024-together/35973 ?
IdaBzo: When you make a post can you make it obvious that we are talking about NixCon in Europe. Maybe something in the vain of (please change the text below since it is just suggestion):
2024 is going to be the year of Nix.
You probably know there is NixCon North America in March 2024 in US <US flag emoji>.
But did you know that preparation for NixCon in EU <EU flag emoji> already started?
Where would it be the perfect place to have NixCon in EU?

how do you do local development on the NixOS website, every time I run `serve` that seems to loop endlessly and it never work. am I missing something ? npm install to install the node modules and npm run dev to start the server.
If you need node, you can run nix-shell -p nodejs.

In this case development server is running and I can curl localhost:8000, but when I try to launch the same URL in browser, it is redirected to http://localhost:8000/servlet?p=login&q=loginForm&jumpto=status and I get 404. | 09:40:28 |

Actually, I am trying to run local development of nixos-homepage as well and I have the same problem as @Pol Yeah, the current setup is not the easiest to maintain. That is why I hope we can wrap up the work on main as soon as possible. | 10:49:10 |
