ronef | Nix documentation team made a proposal for a great project they put together but it wasn't accepted by the Google Season of Docs effort. Kicking of a community effort to get this through
Would appreciate any help on messaging/marketing <3

davidak | In reply to @raitobezarius:matrix.org I really want to see a NixOS guest article on LWN.net there is a LWN nixos article from 2009. and a short article for some release. so i don't see any reason they wouldn't publish a new article https://lwn.net/Articles/337677/ | 14:19:36 |

davidak | In reply to @soulpredator09:matrix.org Hi!
I had a suggestion to make, probably adding the term/buzz word "immutability" on the website for NixOS will help users know better, and find it as something that takes a similar approach to silverblue, vanilla os (but different and better obviously). that is not something many people would care about. the current approach of the marketing is to explain what benefits you get rather than technical properties | 14:24:12 |

@gdesforges:matrix.org | In reply to @garbas:matrix.org I wasn't able to quickly find them in my email box, but I know Valentin has the export of both. But I might just be able to get you the access to survey.nixos.org since instance to see the questions. Heya! Any news about that? | 10:06:01 |

@gdesforges:matrix.org | awesome | 16:33:42 |
@gdesforges:matrix.org | does the Google Form have to be created on a specific GDrive account? I can create it with mine and later transfer/copy I guess | 16:34:08 |
@gdesforges:matrix.org | ronef: by any chance, do you also have all the possible answers for closed questions? | 16:36:22 |
@gdesforges:matrix.org | e.g. in "Which region do you live in?" what are possible answers? | 16:37:25 |
ronef | let me check | 16:37:43 |
ronef |  Download image.png | 16:39:10 |
ronef | I have some in the summary post above | 16:39:16 |
ronef | I'm sure it's somewhere though, will keep looking | 16:39:34 |
@gdesforges:matrix.org | I'm afraid that by using this as source of truth, I might not include possible answers which had 0 people, but this year could | 16:41:29 |

ronef | agreed | 16:51:27 |
@gdesforges:matrix.org | GForm is not the nicest to keep nesting questions based on previous answers 😓 | 16:59:13 |
@gdesforges:matrix.org | this year for regions I suggest using these
