ajs124 | if that's possible, I'd like to know, because I'm sure it might come in handy | 15:09:30 |
sterni | we're uh doing this now: https://github.com/openlab-aux/vuizvui/issues/50#issuecomment-1076456373 | 15:48:12 |
ajs124 | ah. we just disable restrict-eval 😬 | 15:49:42 |
cransom | yeah. i too have been dragging along a patch ever since day 1 of hydra to disable strict eval. | 16:25:01 |

ma27 | In reply to @grahamc:nixos.org I mean how about I give you access to my local copy to be clear, you mean by using your test-system for that? | 10:26:30 |
ma27 | In reply to @grahamc:nixos.org are you using tailscale? I don't atm | 10:26:37 |
@grahamc:nixos.org | @ma27 right. Last year my business bought some stuff to make it possible to test hydra stuff, I’d be happy to grant you access temporarily to test it. | 11:54:13 |

I see :) suggestion: I'll merge in latest master and do a "small" test-run on my own (it's a while ago that I wrote this code, so I'd like to test it on a smaller scale first before using your testing infrastructure).
after that, I'd message you regarding a test on your infra. I'm somewhat busy with a lot of other stuff though, so it may take a little while :)

@grahamc:nixos.org | we're going to revert the 2.6 upgrade in Hydra to go back to 2.5.0, which is not a full revert back to the revision we were at before: https://github.com/NixOS/hydra/pull/1185
the goal is to determine if the problems were introduced in that random commit to 2.5.0, or 2.5.0 to 2.6.0

@jonringer:matrix.org | Are we able to do anything about hydra-unstable failing to build in nixpkgs? | 17:39:17 |
Rick (Mindavi) | Try to get this over the finish line? https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/pull/160202 | 17:49:57 |
@jonringer:matrix.org | merge conflicts :( | 19:09:22 |
Rick (Mindavi) | Yeah, I saw :( | 19:14:33 |
Rick (Mindavi) | Not sure what's up with that, did something else regarding hydra get merged | 19:15:55 |
@jonringer:matrix.org | i think it was in the release notes, those are pretty prone to merge conflicts | 20:58:09 |

Amanda (she/her) | grahamc (he/him): The LDAPContext seems to be very flakey for me, On more than one occasion my homelab has failed to update due to slapadd timing out for whatever reason, any ideas/hints? At the moment I'm just going to disable tests in my config to get my server updated. | 12:37:01 |
@grahamc:nixos.org | Hmmm. This is in a nix build? | 12:37:31 |
