@andreas.schraegle:helsinki-systems.deajs124you'd probably need to send an api request for each build in the eval, with that you can query the binary cache for the logs16:24:43

If you mean store_uri - then yes, that can be a s3 url
I meant hydra stores logs on s3

Unqueryable logs makes sense. I hoped for a blessed tool to fetch build logs (possibly with a bit of caching support).
nix log is a blessed tool for fetching build logs
00:40:47
@linus:schreibt.jetzt@linus:schreibt.jetztIt's not hydra-aware though00:40:56
@dandellion:dodsorf.asDandellionAt least when I only had one job, now that I have two it never completes an evaluation04:07:00

There is an extra option for that

@ulrikstrid:matrix.org@ulrikstrid:matrix.org Does the githubstatus plugin work with flakes? And can I use a Bearer token instead of Basic auth? 07:09:53

Does hydra not write the logs into the mix store?

Yes, but you can't tell nix log "get the logs for this job from this evaluation" without extra steps
11:27:30
@linus:schreibt.jetzt@linus:schreibt.jetztYou have to give it a drv path11:27:30

Does seem like it. A plugin could be written for that

Don't we need to get them anyway?

Can it without flakes track multiple branches?

I don't know, tr?fi's use case doesn't specify that they need to get drvs.

I wrote one for npins, it works well. So probably (?)

@sandro:supersandro.deSandroI'd really would want to get inputs to work for flakes23:15:10

It's not really production-grade which is why it's not available anywhere
12:06:37
@janne.hess:helsinki-systems.dedas_j But you essentially hook intp evalAdded, parse the repo URLs and git hashes, and do $evaluation->jobsetevalinputs->create 12:07:16

put a big ol' disclaimer on it and publish it anyway?

@linus:schreibt.jetzt@linus:schreibt.jetztonly non-production-grade software is better than no software12:08:01

I'd rather finish it first. It's 95% done, just the github and gitlab integration is lacking a bit
12:08:09
@janne.hess:helsinki-systems.dedas_jThe entire plugin requires this in Hydra first though: https://github.com/NixOS/hydra/pull/122012:08:35

@trofi:matrix.orgtrofi Hydra UI question: https://hydra.nixos.org/eval/1768719?compare=trunk&full=1#tabs-new shows a bunch of aarch64-darwin failures like EBTKS.aarch64-darwin. Can I filter just failures for aarch64-darwin? I tried to go to Still failing jobs, but it shows no aarch64 failures there: https://hydra.nixos.org/eval/1768719?compare=trunk&full=1#tabs-now-fail . I think this job is in a funny state according to latest eval: https://hydra.nixos.org/jobset/nixpkgs/pr-110571. But maybe I'm missing something obvious? 18:18:52

What about https://hydra.nixos.org/eval/1768719?filter=aarch64-darwin&compare=1768700&full=1#tabs-new ?
21:49:34
@trofi:matrix.orgtrofiDoes it show only failures for you? For me it renders all the packages including successful ones.23:33:49
