is there a good way to set a set of default environment variables that dbus-activated services will inherit? not really systemd but this is the closest I could find...
i mean dbus-broker uses systemd transient units to start services iirc, so switching to that would work

@lily:lily.flowersLily Fostermore seriously, either the services should have corresponding systemd units if they need special config or you can probably just set env vars on the dbus-daemon service itself as well (though dbus-broker could be an actual solution in your case too idk -- though uh i will admit i find dbus-activated system services without a corresponding systemd unit already a bit of a weird circumstance so idk the context you're in)11:30:53

yeah i guess env vars on the dbus-daemon service itself then maybe? i'm not even sure those are inherited though
