I hope you’re doing well. The Outreachy results have been published, and I saw that while the NGI NixOS project had one intern selected, the Reproducible Builds project did not have any selections.
I participated actively in the contribution period for the Reproducible Builds project, and I was hoping to understand whether there was a particular reason no intern was selected. I’m genuinely interested in contributing to the NixOS community and would appreciate any feedback or insights you might be able to share about the decision. 🙏🏽 | 16:13:02 |
 Fernando Rodrigues | Hey. It is with a heavy heart that I say this, but unfortunately Outreachy rejected all of our requests to fund interns using the Outreachy General Fund. The only intern funded was funded using money from an European Union grant to NixOS-NGI, not Outreachy. This unfortunately means that all of our selected interns were rejected. | 16:14:51 |
