David Arnold (blaggacao) | But she definitly likes pastel paper white screens with light gray text and engaging content. | 04:24:32 |
davidak | maybe create a mockup of that idea | 04:25:15 |
David Arnold (blaggacao) | Maybe if we think of mass adoption, with Steve Jobs, we also have to think about the detailed branding ? | 04:25:31 |

David Arnold (blaggacao) | Ps: what I like about the pastel paper color light gray interactive option tree: by make the allusion of writing on a sheet of paper, it maintains a strong spiritual commection with the declarative model of NixOS. | 04:46:38 |

kunrooted | Hi, I've seen that someone on Discord came up with the idea, but I'm curious whether we can make it official. Wdyt about Nix certifications? Nix already is a next-gen devops cool and getting certifications in it would be really outstanding on the resume. (Came here, to the Marketing channel, because a friend of mine told me this can be the best place to discuss it, sorry if he was wrong) | 11:13:38 |
kunrooted | I can even risk saying, that this can make not only resume outstanding in some ways, but also Nix will look way better if we, as some other tools/languages, adopt certifications of some kind
also the Nix itself, at least in my opinion, will be treated probably with more professional approach, don't get me wrong, but I still hear people talking like "Nix is still some kind of experiment, don't use it", I think that making certifications from Nix can change the view on that
as ridiculous as it may sound, I know quite a few people of those kind, sadly
but I really hope that we, at least one day, sooner or later, can consider such a thing, at least one or two certs | 11:22:47 |
